Important Notice: Shvaas is a personal reflection companion, not a mental health service. Shvaas does not provide medical advice, mental health counseling, psychotherapy, or any form of clinical treatment. Shvaas is not a licensed mental health provider and should not be used as a substitute for professional mental health care. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified professional or a crisis helpline immediately.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Shvaas ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. What Shvaas Is (and Is Not)

Shvaas is a voice-based personal reflection companion. It is:

A private space to express thoughts and feelings out loud
A tool for personal reflection and self-exploration
An AI-powered companion that listens, reflects, and asks questions

Shvaas is not:

A mental health service, platform, or provider
A substitute for professional mental health care or crisis intervention
A clinical tool for diagnosis, treatment, or management of any condition
A licensed counselor, psychotherapist, or medical professional

Nothing communicated through Shvaas constitutes medical or mental health advice. Always consult a qualified professional for mental health concerns.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Shvaas. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@shvaas.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

Shvaas offers a free trial of 3 sessions. After the trial, access requires an active subscription:

India: ₹299 per month
Global: $12 per month (USD)

Subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then. For our refund policy, see our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use Shvaas for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to reverse-engineer or extract the underlying AI models
Share your account with others
Use the Service to harass, harm, or threaten any person

7. Privacy

Your use of Shvaas is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Conversations are private and are not used to train AI models. Session transcripts are deleted after insights are extracted.

8. Crisis Situations

If Shvaas detects signals of serious distress, it will respond with empathy and provide crisis helpline information. Shvaas is not equipped to handle emergencies. In an emergency, call your local emergency services or a crisis helpline:

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Shvaas is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific needs.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shvaas and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify you of material changes by email.
